 FleishmanHillard Hong Kong is a winning agency, evidenced by the fact that 2016 saw its eighth consecutive year of revenue growth. The office won over US$1 million in new business from 23 new clients. New client relationships included international tech giants, Alcatel, Tencent, Xiaomi and Plantronics; government-related clients including InvestHK and Investor Education Centre; Genting, Dream Cruises and Turkish Airlines in travel; and large MNCs including Bayer, Merck & Co, and BorgWarner. The toy lovers were pleased with Hasbro joining the roster, and audiophiles equally pleased with Bose.

Along with its clients it won industry recognition with 20 awards including ICCO Global Rising Star, Stephan Thalen; Brand Film Festival, Best of the Best; Asia-Pacific Healthcare PR Agency of the Year; and Marketing Magazine B2B Agency of the Year.

The office grew its people, and now has 73 people in the team. It also promoted 18 people into new roles.

It shared talent and people around the Greater China region and used the power of the FleishmanHillard network to transfer new people into Hong Kong from London. As a result staff turnover dropped to just 13.8 percent, well below the industry average.

As part of FleishmanHillard’s global 70th anniversary, the Hong Kong office raised over US$4,500 in two hours for the Asian University of Women, its pro bono partner.

Its leadership also spoke at multiple conferences and seminars across the region.
