Adfactors PR impressed PRWeek Asia awards judges with its strong business performance in 2014. The independent agency acquired a number of strategic accounts, including Cairn Plc, Chhattisgarh Government, Deutsche Bank, GNRC Hospitals, India Brand Equity Foundation, Hockey India, Infosys, Mumbai Metropolitan Authority, Schneider Electric, Star India, Thyssenkrupp India, and Vedanta Group. It also retained top clients such as Larsen & Toubro, which has been a client since October 2001, Mahindra Group (since May 2002), State Bank of India (July 2003), The Carlyle Group (February 2005), and Jet Airways (June 2005). Indeed, in the agency’s traditional sectors (banking and financial services) the average clients tenure if five years and up. In 2014, the agency added new services to its portfolio: 1) A process-driven engagement between all clients and the consultancy’s senior leadership on a quarterly basis to help make the communication programmes more strategic, and 2) Continuous development of the product/ service portfolio. It added Services to Government, Video production and Specialised content. Adfactors invested in talent management and development. Attrition at a leadership level is under 10 per cent at the agency. And while the figure is higher at around 20 per cent at the account executive level, it is still below the industry average. Its talent retention / development programme includes a physician visits our office in the evenings, and daily gym and yoga classes. Training is an on-going process at Adfactors PR. Each year, it sends three to six senior leaders to Harvard Business School’s short-duration courses on strategy and conducts about 25 training courses every year for junior and mid-level executives.
