Over the past few years, and particularly since October 2010, MSLGROUP has experienced enormous growth in the scale of its operations, financial performance, client relationships, talent development and reputation.   The group’s growth in terms of business performance in its Asian office was up over 33 per cent on last year, profitability increased by 30 per cent and for a second year in a row, MSLGROUP Asia grew by more than 30 per cent. No other PR agency in network in Asia achieved such strong growth across their existing offices. Not only did MSLGROUP Asia retain its top 10 clients in 2011, it held on to all of its top 30 clients last year. Over 75 per cent of existing clients increased their business with the network, and on average revenue grew by 40 per cent.   In Asia during 2011, the group acquired six agencies while continuing to grow organically. Reiterating the network’s status as a source of insight and knowledge for the industry it released a host of proprietary reports and opinion pieces on issues such as socio-political events in India and social media in China.   For the second year in succession MSLGROUP Asia maintained a 100 per cent stability in it’s top management (MD and above), staff retention was 20 per cent higher than the previous year mainly in India and China due to large investments in talent. A new Learning & People Development function was created in Asia to develop knowledge sharing, digital/social workshops and roadshows focusing on client engagement and strategic planning, while mobility programmes allowed staff to gain international experience with more than 25 staff travelling as far afield as New York.  MSLGROUP Asia developed specialist expertise, services and knowledge through the development of three key programmes; the Asia Crisis Network, a global network of more than 75 crisis experts from across the group; Verité, a fully customisable measurement platform that connects data to business objectives; and Social Integration, a fully integrated offering that has Plan, Build and Engage capabilities across India and Greater China leveraging a team of social and digital experts.
