Vicky Neill, Racepoint Global

Vicky Neill (28) is an ambitious, talented and results-driven vice-president running Racepoint Global’s (RPG) Asia operation. Originally from Ireland, she ventured to Hong Kong (HK) in 2012 to broaden her international skill set and experience the best of what Asia has to offer. A passionate communicator, she sits on the regional senior management team, spearheads a multi-national team and works across a global client base. Fuelled by an approach that sees her go above and beyond, Neill’s dedication to building the client portfolio for RPG has led to substantial revenue growth as well as the migration of business to other RPG offices. She led the 2014 win of the Kellogg-HKUST EMBA (KHEMBA) media buy programme. RPG, traditionally known for its PR capabilities, successfully managed over US$1.3 million in paid media across the Asia-Pacific region. The agency was also invited to pitch for the global re-brand of the programme, which it subsequently won. As one of the leading EMBA programmes in Asia and facing increased competition in the market place, KHEMBA tasked Neill and her team to develop a way for the brand to elevate its presence in the Asia-Pacific market. With limited media buy experience, she developed the overarching strategy and quickly developed relationships with key outlets. The key objectives were to drive awareness; stand out from competitors and boost applications for the 2015 programme. Neill crafted a campaign that saw KHEMBA connect with senior business leaders and decision makers in real time via print, digital and outdoor methods. As a direct result of the campaign, KHEMBA’s brand awareness strengthened substantially. She managed to negotiate over HK$4.5 million in added value.
