Bud Communications

In 2020, Bud set out to build a new kind of agency, built to unlock growth for challenger technology brands. With an unswerving focus on disruptive businesses in a kinetic state, we enable high-growth tech brands to break or build new markets across some of the fastest-moving sectors such as gaming & esports, fintech, cybersecurity and eCommerce. Since Bud launched in Q1 2020 we have seen nearly 170% growth, winning clients across the challenger tech space allowing us to build our team across Singapore, Jakarta and Sydney, and bolstering our reputation as one of the region’s most exciting boutique agencies.

Sandpiper Communications

Formed by a MBO in late 2019 Sandpiper is a founder-led, 100% employee-owned business, with 80% of its board women. We bought the business back because we believe there is a space in the market for a regional, nimble, data and results-driven corporate communications firm of deep subject-matter experts, using data-driven insights and research to provide advice and content to drive engagement and change. Our decision to operate as a single, global team, with a single P&L enables us to deliver with flexibility and speed. We opened an office in Beijing during lockdown and 2020 saw exceptional growth, with revenue growing by 47%, staff headcount by 38% and with no pay cuts or redundancies or client losses of note. This is a doubling in revenue within 24 months and with all sectors, especially healthcare demonstrating strong growth.
