After the launch of Viacom18’s Corporate Social Responsibility program, Chakachak Mumbai in 2016, we wanted to mobilise our employees bringing them together to do their bit towards the society, while inculcating a feeling of ownership and pride in it. When you think about others, you become a hero. When you become a hero, you become the center of attention. When you become the center of attention, you are happy. When you are happy, you are more productive. When you are more productive, you become the star employee. So be selfish, do good!
Viacommunity Week became such a big success that we have now opened volunteering throughout the year across our locations. Whether it’s a small city like Bhubaneshwar where we have less than 20 employees or Mumbai, with more than a 1000 people, there are city centric causes for all. We asked our people to #BeSelfish, and it paid off!
