In 2020, when women are ruling the roost and breaking grounds everywhere, their peeking bra straps still make for more conversations than their peaking career graphs.

Awkward stares, nasty comments, disparaging eyes; women are still subjected to shocking reactions and made to feel uneasy for their peeking bra straps. While we have come a long way in creating an equitable society for women, a closer look will reveal that something as frivolous as a strap opens an access for public shaming that continues to haunt modern women.

Taking on from United Nations’ theme of ‘Each for Equal’ for Women’s Day, which upholds that an equal world is an enabled one, MTV chose to break away from societal stereotypes that surround women and launch a thought proving and bold campaign to combat strap shaming.
